Working the numbers out beats trading on gut feel. These are the small tools we reach for ourselves: grid, DCA, risk/reward, fees — estimate any of them before you commit. Everything runs in your browser — the math happens locally and that's it, nothing goes online, nothing is uploaded, nothing is saved. Fee rates and limits always follow whatever Binance shows at the time; the tools just plug your numbers into the formula. Run it once, then decide whether to act.
What these tools can and can't do for you
What they can do is arithmetic: take the "roughly, more or less" numbers in your head and lay them out — how many cents a single grid step actually earns, what your average cost works out to after dollar-cost averaging, whether this trade's risk/reward stacks up, how much a year of fees quietly bites off. What they can't do is call the market — whether price goes up or down, whether the range breaks below your floor, whether it trends off in one direction. No tool computes that; you have to read it yourself.
Every default fee rate is just a placeholder. Maker vs. taker, whether the BNB discount is on, your VIP tier — all of them change the real rate, so always go by what your account shows on Binance. To understand how the fees themselves work, see how fees are calculated. To get the ideas behind the tools first, start with the complete grid trading guide or the complete DCA guide.
